Blog Network Update

© By Othmar Vohringer

Regrettably I have to inform my blog network readers that due to considerable time restrictions (work overload), I am forced to cut back on several activities. It is no longer possible for me to continue the upkeep of many different blogs and writing for a variety of web related outdoor outlets free of charge.

As of immediately I will no longer continue to write my by-weekly column on the My Stand blog. However the blog will stay open for readers.

The blog “My Wild Outdoor Kitchen” will be taken of the Internet.

Whitetail Deer Passion and Wild Turkey Fever will only be seasonally updated.

This blog, Outdoors with Othmar Vohringer, will not be affected by these cutback measures and continues to be regularly updated.

On a much more positive note: We’re house hunting and it looks like that in the near future we will relocate to a small town surrounded by some of British Columbia’s top hunting and fishing locations. For the moment that will be all I am prepared to reveal on that exiting topic.

With the drastic cutback I will find finally the time to launch a new blog that has been in the planning for some time now. I think you all will like that new blog, which is all about the fishing world capitol of British Columbia. In the new blog I will share with you my fishing adventures, tips, news and products. More about this is soon to come.

I wish you the best in all of your changes, and I will continue to read your work and admire you for your wisdom in the great outdoors.

Hello Othmar - I am finally feeling a little better and able to spend a little time with the blogging world! I hear you talking when it comes to having too many projects going on all at one time. A person has to step back and take fresh look once in awhile to what his priorities are. I wish you the best of luck and am particularly excited about your new fishing blog roll out.

Keep us posted!

Adam – Thank you for the kind words. I am glad you like what I have to say. On a somewhat embarrassing note I have to ask you to tell me what blog you’re writing. Usually I keep pretty well track of my blogging friends. But somehow “Adam” escaped from my tracking list.

Eagle Eye – I am extremely happy to get a signal from you. I have been wondering how you’re doing. I am so glad to hear that you finally beat that nasty flu that had you bugged down for so long.
I will keep you, as all the others, updated on the new development of the fishing blog.

Hi Old Friend!
why don't you get some people (peeps) to write and monitor these blogs you want to retire.
Seems like there would be lots of people interested in monitoring or posting on these on occassion.

Well, I'm glad to hear this blog will still be around. I know how easy it is to take on more than you can feasibly do. I think it is good you're scaling back.

Thank you to everyone for your comments and words of encouragement I appreciate that very much.

Krisitne I am very glad to see you back in the force again and blogging. Editor, I like your idea of getting others to write for my blog and I have actually tried that but so far nobody showed any interest.
