High Roller, the biggest antlered whitetail in the world

Rex Howell at the Deer Camp Blog posted several times a picture of a very large buck that peaked my curiosity each time I saw that monster buck, thinking to myself; “I wonder where that brut comes from and what is the story behind it. Well, after some searching on the Internet I finally found the story to go with the image.

The buck, called High Roller, is not a wild buck. He is born and raised on a Deer farm in Ohio by his owner. High Roller has 44 points and scores 367 B&C points. This makes him the biggest antlered whitetail in the world.

The full story of this monster buck makes for very interesting reading.

highroller ended up scoring 418 at 7 passing rdm goliath who scored 410 making highroller the largest whitetail ever... however highroller died a year after setting his record, not sure what the cause of death was.... he has a half brother named Drifter that scored 406 last year, we are all anxious to see how big he gets

High Roller die from a illness that most non typical whitetails get. When a buck gets hurt or sick you typically see deform in the antler growth. High Roller had a tumer. He was the biggest but you cant make a record with a high fence whitetail. The deer must be wild to actually make B&C. Farmers produce massive steriod up whitetails everyday. if some that buck broke free and got shot that would be on rich man. Long live High Roller he is with Muey Grande' now.

High Roller 418 was a superior breed whitetail. No steroids! He has three 400" sons this year. High fence or not he was a magnificent animal. I had the privilege to see him before he died. It a shame there's not a penalty for shooting button bucks and yearlings and we might have a chance to see some thing like him in the wild. Wouldn't that be something!
